"Pequeñas Situaciones"

This is a fantastic image which captures a moment of life. It reminds of two masters: Rodchenko and Cartier Bresson. Two different views and approaches in the same shot. I will have to come back to this one for a more thorough evaluation.
What I like in this picture is the slow pace which permeates the scene. The place is not crowded. The two figures on the bench in the middle having a conversation which seems relaxed and enjoyable. This is also the case of the other two people one of whom shares the bench with the other two. The person sitting alone seems to be listening on the conversation or is curious since there seems to be some excitement in this conversation. The man walking his dog is doing the same thing. This makes me wonder what might the two people be saying that is exciting? We will never know but we can make and imagine all sorts of possibilities and scenarios. The openness of the scene and composition as well as the angle emphasize the relaxed slow pace. It is a scene reminding us of the necessity to make the time to enjoy each other and to savor life in its simplest elements. I really enjoy this picture and will certainly come back to see it again and again.
